Class Guidelines

Parent Involvement

We have an open door policy. We invite parents to participate in their child’s class. Feel free to come and help plan a project. You can share your heritage by cooking with the kids, reading a story, sharing pictures, etc…We introduce all holidays to the children. if you do not want your child to participate please let us know. Parents are encouraged to become involved in the curriculum, strengths and weaknesses of the center. If you would like to become a parent representative, please let us now.

Class Time

Class begins at 9:00 a.m. We ask that all children be here by then. If they are not here, they may NOT come until 2:30 p.m. It disturbs lunch and nap. Our day consists of small group, large group, circle time, and outdoor play. We focus on fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, social/emotional, and character development skills in our self curriculum. Each class has lessons that are posted on Lifecubby each week that are developmentally appropriate for their age.

Emergency Guidelines

All enrollment cards need to be up to date and current. We must be able to reach you at all times. We will call in cases of illness, fire, hurricane, loss of power or water. Each month we will conduct a fire drill to provide a smooth transition in the event of an emergency. If you are here during a drill you must follow the procedure a well. We have a risk management packet in each building. Copies are available upon request.

Pre-School Program

Our program is designed for your children according to age. We have a school year curriculum. The programs we pursue are geared toward helping children learn there is freedom to make choices, that he/she does not always have to conform. An open-end program like ours, prepares the child to utilize his/her intellectual and creative abilities for future learning situations. Our approach in preschool is to not only prepare your children academically for school but enhance their character development to help them with self confidence and social awareness. We do our classroom move up every August, according to kindergarten entry – not their age.

Fees

Tuition is a reoccurring bill that can be sent weekly, biweekly, or monthly. I charge 4 weeks for monthly. If there is a 5th Monday in a month, I will add a week to tuition for monthly payers. We accept credit/debit with a $5 transaction fee, ACH with a $1 transaction fee. These payment methods are done by you on Procare. We also accept check or cash in which can be paid in the provided payment boxes in each building. There is a $200 registration fee upon enrollment and every May thereafter. If you are not attending over the summer the registration fee is $300 with no vacation time to use. You receive a $25 discount each week for a sibling discount. Tuition includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, evening snack, and art supplies.
